I went into Summit Hut, a Tucson outdoors shop, to buy a new pair of gloves and to thank co-owner Jeremy for the product donations generously given to me by the company. I was given over $1100 in new gear, including a satellite phone, a tent, a solar charger and a $300 gift card to Summit Hut. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to work Kathy Simko, a Summit Hut employee who completed the 800 mile Arizona Trail last year. Without the help from my donors and generous sponsorship's from places like Summit Hut I would not be able to complete my trip.
